Erick Carranza is a PhD student in the Department of Bioengineering at the University of Pittsburgh. He graduated with a bachelors in Mechatronics Engineering from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP) and worked as a researcher at the Biomechanics and Applied Robotics Research Lab at PUCP. His main focus was to develop technologies for stroke survivors combining technologies Brain computer interfaces and immersive virtual reality.
