High Resolution Brain Mapping with Functional MRI
The goal of this study is to use MRI to map the areas of the brain related to movements and sensations from various parts of the body.
- Are you between the ages of 18 and 65.
Muscle-Based Control of Advanced Upper-Limb Prostheses
The goal of the study is to record muscle activity while a person performs a variety of hand and arm movements in order to help develop advanced prosthetic limbs.
- Are you between the ages of 18 and 70?
Upper-Limb Prosthetics Focus Group and Questionnaire
The goal of this study is to gather survey input from clinicians and payers of prosthetic technology, about current prosthetics and about a new “neuroprosthetic” technology for individuals with upper limb amputation.
- Are you over the age of 18?
- Do you work for or with individuals with an arm amputation?
- As a Clinician?
- As a Payer of prosthetic technology?
Able-Bodied Comparison Study for Prosthetics Development
The goal of this study is to provide performance values from an able-bodied control group to use as a comparison to results obtained for our other neuroprosthetic studies. These studies often involve using movement-related activity to control a computer or prosthetic device, or describing sensations that are experienced during use of a prosthesis.
- Are you between the ages of 18 and 65?
