A Sensorimotor Microelectrode Brain-Machine Interface
The goals of this study is to demonstrate the ability of a person with tetraplegia to control of a robotic arm with their brain activity, while also receiving sensory feedback.
- Do you have limited or no ability to use both hands due to cervical spinal cord injury, or brainstem stroke?
- Are you at least 1 year post injury?
- Are you between the ages of 22 and 70?
Mapping Sensorimotor Brain Activity with Functional MRI
The goal of this study is to use MRI to map the precise origins on the brain of signals relating to control and sensation of movement of various parts of the body.
- Do you have a cervical spinal cord injury that occurred at least one year ago?
- Are you RIGHT-handed?
- Are you age 18 or older?
