Vahagn Karapetyan, MD, PhD

Vahagn  Karapetyan is a PhD graduate in the Department of Bioengineering at the University of Pittsburgh. He obtained his undergraduate degree in Neuroscience and subsequent degree in Medicine at the University of Toronto. He then began a neurosurgical residency program at Western University, while maintaining an interest in pursuing research in the field of neuroprosthetics. He joined the RNEL team in 2018, with an interest in sensory and closed loop BCI.
